Healthcare.AI

AI-powered healthcare management platform

Overview & Problem

Healthcare.AI is a proactive patient monitoring and health data platform that combines longitudinal records, vital biomarker tracking, and automated disease risk assessment. The underlying architecture and performance evaluation were co-authored and published in an IEEE conference.

The Engineering Problem

Medical records and patient monitoring are typically siloed. Diagnostic interventions are often reactive rather than preventative, leaving patients and caretakers without timely risk flags before health events escalate.

What I Built

  • ■Designed and implemented an integrated platform unifying electronic medical records, AI clinical insights, and patient telemetry.
  • ■Built Patient Overview Dashboards tracking vital biomarkers and historical lab records over time.
  • ■Implemented HeartGuard AI, an intelligent clinical assistant that analyzes patient reports to generate preventative healthcare insights.
  • ■Developed Caretaker and Timeline modules for managing medication schedules, exercise tracking, and longitudinal health history.
  • ■Formulated predictive risk assessment models for cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stroke, and chronic kidney disease.
  • ■Co-authored the research paper detailing the platform's empirical evaluation and performance metrics.

Engineering & Architecture

System Architecture FlowFull-stack architecture featuring a high-throughput FastAPI backend, PostgreSQL relational storage, and modular ML evaluation pipelines delivering rapid clinical risk scoring.

High-Throughput Clinical Telemetry

Maintained sub-100ms response times for core healthcare operations across high volumes of continuous simulated patient data streams.

Clinically Validated Risk Engines

Built scoring pipelines adhering to recognized clinical benchmarks to flag cardiovascular and chronic disease risks without latency penalties.
